Citibank's Simplicity+ Card with Free Marshall Emberton Speaker
#Adulting101
Before, I don't like the thought of having a credit card, even though I have discipline in handling my finances. If my means don't permit it, I will not buy it. I am living within the money I earned. Considering that I am a working student, I have to budget my money and limit my expenses.
However, as time goes by, I realized that having a credit card has a good side. I am only using my credit card if I have the means to pay it on the next pay day, I won't exceed the limit of my incoming salary unless I will be willing to pay late payment fees.
In 2020, I already have a credit card in one bank but annual fee is waived only for three years. Thus, I've looking for a credit card with no annual fee and that's when I came to know Citibank's Simplicity + Card.
I applied through Moneymax (since upon successful application I will receive a Free Marshall Emberton Speaker). I didn't have a hard to on applying for this since I have an existing credit card with other bank.
What's good about Citibank's Simplicity + Card. There's no annual fee. Unlike the Citi Rewards Card, you have to spend at least 20,000 to have their "No Annual Fee" Promo. Likewise, when you failed to pay your dues on the due date, you will not incur late payment fees. As to the card limit, I am not sure how they came up with the limit, but you can apply to have a higher limit subject to the Bank's Rules. But no worries, if ever you exceeded your card limit, you will not incur fees for overlimit.
* After waiting for eight months, I've finally received my Free Emberton Speaker from Moneymax for applying Citibank's Simplicity + Card.
